Meet The Author

Georgia Patilis

SPANLINGO Spanish To Go For Medical Professionals was created by Georgia Patilis. Ms. Patilis has a background as a Human Resources professional in the medical industry.  She has taught Spanish language courses at the college level for over 15 years.

Ms. Patilis is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at SUNY Farmingdale, where she teaches undergraduate Spanish language courses and Medical Spanish courses. Ms. Patilis also has extensive experience teaching Medical Spanish at the college level and at the hospital level.

Georgia Patilis has published a medical and dental Spanish reference guide. She is in the process of publishing a series of Spanish-language books that focus on customized learning, not cookie-cutter Spanish.

Her work is innovative and fun, and her students appreciate her approach to teaching.
